CRUNCHY PANEER NUGGETS

Paneers are the go-to milk products we use daily to prepare starters, special dishes everywhere. In this special season of monsoon, try this crunchy paneer nugget as your evening snack, which is quick and easy which will be appealed to everyone. The bread crumbs used for coating give a crispy outer layer while the inside panner is soft and delicious. The masala used later will enhance the taste of this snack.

CRUNCHY PANEER NUGGETS

Ingredients-

  • 200gm Fresh Paneer cut into cubes

  • ¼ cup All-purpose flour Maida

  • 1 tsp red chilli powder

  • 1 tsp Lemon juice

  • 1 tbsp Corn starch White cornflour

  • ¼ tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp Black pepper powder

  • 1 tsp crushed garlic or garlic powder

  • Milk – As needed

  • ¼ cup Breadcrumbs

  • ½ cup Corn flakes

  • Oil – to deep fry

Steps in Preparation-

  • Take cubed paneer in a bowl, keep immersed in hot water until use.

  • Drain from water, add red chilli powder, salt, and lemon juice. Coat well.

  • Place corn flakes in a zip lock cover, crush them to make smaller crumbles using a rolling pin or pestle.

  • Mix bread crumbs, crushed flakes in a plate.

  • Coat each paneer cube in maida.

  • Make a batter out of maida, corn starch, baking powder, pepper powder, garlic, and salt. The batter should be not too thick, must be prepared in a manner to coat the paneer.

  • Now dip each paneer in the batter.

  • Further, coat the paneer cubes dipped in batter in the bread crumbs, corn flakes mixture well on all sides. Repeat to finish all.

  • Heat oil and deep fry the paneer cubes in batches. Stir gently in between to ensure even cooking; also cook in medium flame. Once golden and crisp, drain over a paper towel.

  • Serve hot with tomato ketchup aside.
