Baked Gujiyas-
Gujiyas are one the most popular Indian sweet which is being served to almost every guest on Holi. It has a coating of maida which is oil-fried and stuffed with dry fruits and mawa.
To make it healthy, instead of oil frying go for baking using the microwave and filling could be exchanged with pineapple or apple stuffing.
Moong dal dahi vada–
Dahi vadas are one of the most famous and favorite evening snacks of all time, prepare these vadas with a combination of urad and moong daal, instead of deep-frying do the shallow frying, hence minimizing the calories.
Low calorie- Thandai
As everybody knows, Holi is incomplete without some flavorsome thandai, it’s in the demand in almost every home. To make it healthy, instead of full-fat cream milk, use organic milk. You can also do some sweet alterations by replacing sugar with jaggery. Using dry fruits of your choice is always a good option.
Palak methi balls-
Adding green vegetables to your preparing snack always gives some add-on effects to your health. Make Palak methi balls using besan which is extraordinarily rich in iron and protein.
Lauki ka halwa-
Not so famous lauki is a rich source of water content, high in fiber and when used for making halwa gives an ultimate taste. As a vegetable, people are not very fond of lauki or bottle gourd. But when served as a dessert, it gives a finger-licking taste. In the celebration of Holi do try the well-known lauki ka halwa.
