International Women's Day
8th March 2021 is going to be celebrated as International women’s day. Where we will celebrate the achievements of all the strong women of the world, who have impacted society directly or indirectly and played a major role in inspiring others. Its true women have given and have maintained a balance in the sphere.
Just a year back when the pandemic was at its peak, every sector and segment got affected, women have got the increased invisible burden of balancing both households and work from home, which they did in every part.
Health is another important subject which is of concern and why not? but is a more sensitive topic for women than men.
According to recent reports, women are more susceptible to infectious disease as compared to men, and have several factors affecting their physical, psychological, and sexual state. When they move towards another phase lower bone density, autoimmune disease, breast cancer, iron deficiency anemia, and many more arise in the body which turn chronic with time.
Women and men also have many of the same health problems. But these problems can affect women differently. For example,
– Women are more likely to die following a heart attack than men
– Women are more likely to show signs of depression and anxiety than men
– The effects of sexually transmitted diseases can be more serious in women
– Osteoarthritis affects more women than men
– Women are more likely to have urinary tract problems.
Maternal, sexual, reproductive, women’s, and girls’ health need special attention from governments and healthcare agencies too as low-income populations and minorities are expected to take the hardest blow in a scenario of limited resources. They can rely on no one due to their economic status, rather than government health care sectors.
Taking precautions at an early stage with proper nutritional care is every women’s duty towards self-health. She is the one who is looking after family-work and hence needs to take extra care of herself without compromising. This day with Farm bionics lets take a pledge for the good health of food, exercise, hydration, and self-time which will embark health with goodness.
